Best.Birthday.Ever!

Shirt- Goodwill:::Pants- Forever 21::: Boots- Gifted:::Necklace-Handmade by me!

My Mom and sister were so sweet by letting me thrift shop to my hearts content, in honor of my Sweet Sixteen!  The stores included Goodwill, Goodwill clearance center, Savers, and Galaxy Furniture.
When I went to Goodwill I found this vintage top ( along with other things I bought ), so when I got home I quickly changed into the new shirt because it is so amazing!  I actually have another vintage shirt from the same company.  The brand name is called Jack Winter.  I love looking at what the vintage clothing companies are called, they are all so unusual.  So for dinner I chose to eat at P.F Chang's ( I gorge myself on the gluten free chinese. Yum! ) Also I opened my birthday gifts there.  Some of the gifts included a bicycle basket and a moccasin kit.  While I am writing this post I am wearing the moccasins I made from the kit. They are so comfortable!

The pictures below are what I found thrifting.
There is a venetian wool skirt, cute navy polka dot skirt, vintage top, cream and black polka dot blouse, and a gap corduroy jacket.

I can't believe I found Banana Repulic shoes at Savers!  The oxford inspired heels are going to get some sparkly wing tips and heels.

I just had to pick up this shirt.  Too funny!

ps. I am thinking about starting a linky party called "What I found and what I wore".  What do you think?

I cant wait to dive in!

This dress was one I considered buying but didnt after I saw the price tag. ( I am a cheap estate sale shopper )

One of the pairs of earrings that I bought.

These are all of the chains I bought.

What do you think of the birds I purchased?

I am so excited that Estate and garage sales are starting back up in full swing!  This morning I went to an  two Estate Sales!  Excitement was in the air in digging through the piles of vintage goodies.  I usually bee line towards the bedroom closets while my Mom and sister just meander through the house.  I get pumped up about the closets, especially when they are stuffed.  All three of the closets were stuffed to the max.  But surprisingly most of the clothes were suit sets and pants.  Today I found a funky floral shirt and a really cool knit vest.  I am probably going to wear my new shirt tucked into the short I wore today.  I am not quite sure of how I am going to wear the vest yet.  ( I did not get the scarf in the picture. To me 6.00 is a bit much for a scarf and besides I dont really wear scarves that much. )  Also I got a lot of chains to use in my jewelry creations.  Spring and summer are a good time to stock up because is seems like in the winter there is not as many jewelry stuff to choose from.  Hey maybe its just because it cold and I dont really want to go out in the blustery weather to garage and Estate Sales.  The pictures below are what I wore to both Estate Sales.

What I found and what I wore

This past Friday I went Estate Sale shopping. There was only 1 sale and it was just a few blocks away from my house. This is what I wore to the sale.

Dress- Etsy
Skinny Jeans- Thrifting with Haley
Striped Cardigan- Charlotte Russe
Necklace- Charlotte Russe clearance
Purse- Etsy

I was so excited about what I got at the sale. The white thing is a vintage sequined hat that I snagged for 5 dollars! There were so many beautiful earrings, it was hard to narrow it down to the six pairs that I bought.

The gold pair of earrings with the crystal drops are the ones I am keeping for myself, the rest are going to be used in my jewelry creations as shown below.

This piece has a vintage sparkly pin on top of a metal piece from a garage sale. I love the contrast of the gold chain with the tarnished silver and gold pieces.
